The event will honor the Morgan Family Foundation, with special recognition of Kevin Duggan, the outgoing City Manager, City of Mountain View. The event will be the first opportunity for supporters to meet Moy Eng who was recently appointed by the CSMA board of directors as the school’s new executive director. All proceeds raised at the event will benefit the arts education and financial aid programs of CSMA, a nonprofit dedicated to providing Arts for All.
“This year’s gala is a wonderful opportunity for us to honor the Morgan Family Foundation for their on-going support of CSMA and arts education and for the extraordinary philanthropic work that they have done to benefit the entire Silicon Valley community,” said Bob Reay, chair, CSMA board of directors. The Morgan Family Foundation, established by Jim and Becky Morgan, has provided CSMA with funding support for their capital campaign, education programs and financial aid, as well as challenge grants to the school to encourage others in the community to donate. Reay went on to say that CSMA and all of the non-profit community organizations have greatly benefited from the leadership of Kevin Duggan, Mountain View's city manager for the past 20 years.
Party for All will include a cocktail reception and elegant dinner, student performances by CSMA’s talented young Merit Scholars, faculty art silent auction, live auction and more. Among the live auction items expected to generate lots of interest are: vacation trips to Bali, South Africa, Italy, and New York, wine verticals, sport adventures, including a Mario Andretti Racing trip experience, and more. The event will conclude with CSMA’s annual Make-A-Difference Appeal to ensure arts education for children and low-income families throughout Silicon Valley.
