This position teaches at a local school site, not at the CSMA facility.
CSMA has a teaching opportunity for a well-qualified, reliable and dedicated keyboard instructor. This position is part-time.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare music for an after school keyboard class of approximately 25 students, middle school
- Conduct rehearsals, four times a week
- Prepare students to participate in one or two public performances
- Implement a course that meets the state standards for grading
- Report to the Program Director, Music4Schools
Qualifications:
- Music degree or equivalent.
- Significant teaching experience and program development.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- State of California Credentialed Instructor
