CSMA Campus

our faculty

Quality art and music teachers have special relationships with their students! They encourage students to express themselves creatively and have the personal and professional experiences to base their teaching of the arts on a deep knowledge, enthusiasm and engagement in their fields.

CSMA's faculty is composed of professional musicians, practicing artists and experienced educators. Our teachers have a solid understanding of how students learn and can be inspired by the arts. They know how to engage students from preschool to adults and how to foster a supportive environment where students can learn to work with ideas and with others while developing appropriate skills and techniques.

As instructors, CSMA's teachers have a strong grasp of methods, tools and techniques that are unique to teaching subject matters where there is no "right answer." They understand the social and cultural context of the arts, and believe that all students can make and benefit from artistic and musical experiences. Our teachers approach each student as an individual and provide challenging learning experiences as well as informed, constructive feedback appropriate to the student's abilities, interests and needs.

At CSMA, we are proud of our faculty and understand that the student-teacher relationship is a fundamental foundation for successful learning of the arts.
