| Teaching Philosophy and Approach |
| “I believe that music lessons should be a collaborative process between the student and teacher. Each student has a different set of needs and goals which need to be individually addressed. Not every student wants to follow the traditional classical route, just as others will never feel the need to play the piano transcriptions of Metallica. Music is there to enrich our lives and so the learning process needs to be enjoyable and flexible enough to allow the student to explore and express themselves through such a dynamic art form.” |
