| Jessica Poll received
her Bachelor's Degree in violin performance in 1999 from the Cleveland
Institute of Music, one of the leading music conservatories in the
country. |
| Performing and
Teaching Experience |
Jessica is an active
orchestral musician as well as private violin instructor. She is
a member of the Monterey and Fremont Symphonies and has performed
with other orchestras around the Bay Area, including the Napa Valley,
Santa Rosa, Modesto, and Santa Cruz Symphonies. She was formerly
a member of the Shreveport Symphony in Louisiana.
Jessica frequently performs as a chamber musician for various special
events and has her own string duo with her sister, who plays the
cello. In addition to classical music, she also has an interest in
popular music and has performed with such artists as Smokey Robinson
and Rod Stewart. Jessica can be heard on the CD "I must be dreaming" on
which she collaborated with Bay Area flamenco-guitarist Tomas Michaud
on the track "Sands of Cartagena". |

| Jessica joined the CSMA
Music Faculty in October 2005 as a private violin teacher. She previously
worked at CSMA as a substitute violin teacher. |
| Teaching Philosophy and Approach |
| Jessica has been
a private violin instructor for six years, teaching both the Suzuki
method as well as the more advanced teaching methods of Ivan Galamian. |
