CSMA offers a complete Early Childhood Music & Art Program. Developmentally-based, hands-on activities nurture the very young as they develop creativity, imagination, & initiative. Classes, taught by our experienced pre-school faculty, offer an exceptional opportunity for parent & child to share special time together experiencing the joys of music & art.

For convenience & to maximize your child's experience, our Early Childhood Program is scheduled to allow for same day enrollment in music & art classes.

ADVENTURES IN MUSIC

Children enjoy singing, creative movement, musical games, listening & playing percussive instruments. Learn musical activities to share in class & at home in this family-oriented class. A wonderful way to set your child on the path to a life-long enjoyment of music. Parent/caregiver & child must attend together.

ADVENTURES IN ART

Children develop confidence as learners & curiosity about the world, while developing fine & gross motor skills & a visual vocabulary to express what they see. An open, safe environment to experience a variety of media, while exploring line, shape, color, & form to represent ideas & feelings through art. Parent/caregivers required to attend with 2- & 3-year-olds; optional in 4-yr-old class. Dress appropriately for clay & paint.

INTRO TO SUZUKI VIOLIN NEW!

For ages 3 1/2 to 5. Begin your music adventure with a box violin & dowel bow. Lean basics: posture, bow & violin hold. Devlop fine motor skills & coordination specific to violin playing through games & exercises. Foundation allows children to produce beautiful sounds when making transition to real violins. Parent/caregiver required to attend. Bring notebook for lesson notes.

INTRO TO SUZUKI RECORDER

Learn to play recorder with your child using the Suzuki Method. Frequent repetition,
positive reinforcement in a nurturing environment. Parent & child practice & listen
to music together daily at home to foster love of music, self-esteem, concentration,
focus. Families purchase recorders, CD, book. Call for supply list & additional
info about Suzuki Method.


Class Size
Class sizes are limited to a maximum of 10 children unless otherwise specified.

Younger Siblings
In consideration of all enrollees, no unregistered siblings over the age of 6 months are permitted to attend.

Early Childhood Program Discount
$20 savings for same child in any 2 “Adventures” classes (music and/or art).
