register new private lesson students

Thank you for your interest in taking private music lessons at CSMA. We are committed to matching every student with a teacher appropriate for learning style, level and goals.

For that reason, we do not register new students online for private lessons, but our program coordinator personally talks with all new students to determine best teacher placement and to answer all questions.

Step 1: New Student Orientation

The New Student Orientation will introduce you to the details of CSMA's private lesson program, including its curriculum, calendar, special benefits, procedures, and policies. This orientation is required for new adult private lesson students or the parents of new school-age students and must be completed before you register for private lessons.

Step 2: New Student Questionnaire

Upon receiving your questionnaire, a member of the Music School staff will contact you to follow up and to answer any questions you may have.

New student placement begins approximately one month prior to the start of a semester. The Music School accepts inquiries during any time of the year and adds students to a prospective student list. When new student placement begins, lesson requests are processed in the order they have been received.
