preschool music & art classes
Preschoolers can explore and express themselves creatively in a fun and age-appropriate environment at CSMA. Our classes feature art, music and movement activities that you and your child can share together and with others, and then take home!
With a curriculum meeting top national standards, CSMA’S preschool classes provide key social and developmental stimuli to help your child prepare for and succeed in a variety of educational areas after starting school. Our teachers are top professionals who take joy in setting the stage for a lifelong love of learning and the arts.
At CSMA, our preschool program provide a variety of themed art and music classes for ages 18 months to 5 years old, and class size is generally limited to 10 children. All weekly classes include parent/caregiver participation to teach families the learning processes, skills and milestones in each stage of a preschooler’s social, intellectual and motor skills development. To provide the complete arts experience, our classes are designed to be taken back-to-back on the same day, but classes may be taken separately. This is an experience that your preschooler should not miss!
Special one-day workshop such as Saturday FunShops are also a wonderful way for you and your child to experience the arts together.
Throughout the year, we offer a free Meet Our Preschool Teachers get-together. At this gathering, both you and your child can talk to our wonderful teachers, preview sample projects, and learn more about specific classes and curriculum.

What's Included
CSMA’s preschool program includes all materials, supplies and instruments used in classes. Children must always be accompanied by an adult, unless otherwise noted in the course information.
Younger Siblings: In consideration of all enrollees, no unregistered siblings over the age of 6 months are permitted to attend.
Tuition & Fees
Preschool class tuition, including registration fees, is listed in our published Fall and Spring/Summer Catalogs or on-line.
In keeping with our commitment to Arts 4 All, CSMA offers tuition assistance to qualified students based on available funding. If you wish to apply, please see financial aid or contact our student services staff at 650.917.6800, ext 0.
